Soooooo I did another thing…I started going back to the gym. Well it’s only been one day. But I was in there and committed. I’m going to try out the Nike Run Club app as well. I had some difficulties getting it working so it did not record all of my run. Hopefully I’ll have it together tomorrow.

2018 was a year of growth and the inception to delving into self careIn the past, I would quickly allow my gym routine to be placed on the back burner and disassociate the practice from my life. Excuses. Bargaining. That was my norm. The current plan is to build the habit of being consistent and going to the gym. I am going to go for 30 min 5 days a week at 5:45/6:00 AM. I’m going to walk for 15 min and I’m going to run and sprint for the remaining 15 min.

I’m not going to blow this post up with how I never was a runner and how it’s not my thing and blah blah blah. I will say that in the near future I may alter the plan to encompass 15 min of weights and 15 min of cardio. Just know I put in the work today AND it wasn’t that bad.
